Pushpa Solanki is an organic cotton farmer in Kasrawad, India. Last year, she wished us a Merry Christmas with her dreams, which give her strength. This April, we visited her again in India, and in a lengthy video interview, she talks about her everyday life\u2014which isn’t always easy, but she still has big dreams: \u2028\u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I would like to be independent,
fly in the sky and do something for myself, just for me.
Or do good and build a temple.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through its partner organizations bioRe Association in India and bioRe Foundation in Tanzania, the foundation has been supporting organic cotton farmers and village communities in promoting organic and biodynamic farming as well as social projects for over 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to this long-standing cooperation and regular exchange, farming families\u2014such as Pushpa Solanki, her husband, and their two children\u2014can earn a more secure livelihood and lead a more harmonious life, as Pushpa herself says in the film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
