Donation technology

On our website, we use donation technology by RaiseNow AG, Hardturmstr. 101, 8005 Zurich, Switzerland, in agreement with the company’s data-privacy policy. Any personal and payment data as well as communication preferences are gathered by RaiseNow on the basis of our interests pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR and an order-processing agreement pursuant to art. 28 para. 3 p. 1 GDPR. RaiseNow AG based in Switzerland and RaiseNow GmbH based in Germany comply with all requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation. Switzerland has the status of a safe third country to which the European Commission has resolved to confirm an adequate level of data protection. This includes, for example, the security of data processing, which is subject to regular auditing and certification by TÜV Süd, a German agency for technical inspection, in agreement with the PCI-DSS SAQ D Level 2 security standard in the case of RaiseNow AG. RaiseNow may use the data gathered in anonymised form, i.e. without reference to a donors, for the purposes of optimising and improving their services, but not in order to contact them or pass data on to third parties.
