For us, empowerment means promoting the community’s own responsibility.
The bioRe Foundation supports organic cotton farmers in Tanzania and India by funding initiatives that are initiated and led by the local population in the communities. With your donation, you help us to strengthen local structures and projects.
Donation for expertise in organic farming
With CHF 50, for example, you make it possible for a woman to receive agricultural training for a whole year.
Donations for education – investing in the future
With CHF 100, you support the annual training of a primary school teacher so that she can make it easier for children from educationally disadvantaged families to start school.
Donation for holistic health
Health awareness grows with the understanding of one’s own possibilities to live a healthy life. With CHF 300 you support a campaign for sexual education in rural India.
Donation for reforestation
With CHF 500 you are investing in the establishment and maintenance of a model plot for agroforestry in Tanzania, so that farmers can learn from a practical example how they can get started in agroforestry.
Donation for organic farming innovations
The bioRe Foundation invests in start-up financing for innovative projects by organic farmers in Tanzania and India. With CHF 1,000, you support the development of our local start-up fund for creative organic farming entrepreneurs.
Donation for drinking water supply
With CHF 3,000, you will enable a village in Tanzania to connect to the drinking water supply system and support the assumption of personal responsibility through practical training.
Donation for decentralised community management
The key to sustainable community empowerment lies in the methodology and the development of participatory mechanisms. With CHF 5,000, you enable the decentralised organisation of the training of farmers in organic farming, including the production of inputs, in a village.
