Since 2006, 18 bioRe animation schools have been established in India. Due to the Corona pandemic, all schools remained closed for the whole year.
In comparison to the “homeschooling” solutions in Switzerland and other European countries, the children in the remote areas of India have no alternatives to the regular school routine with attendance classes. In the villages in general and at the schools there is no electricity access.
Child labor due to poverty is unfortunately a reality in these villages. If a school routine is cancelled altogether, these children are very unlikely to find a way back to education.
The school project of the bioRe® Foundation is a project that must maintain continuity.
The “School at Your Home” program aims to create a school-like environment for students in all animation schools during the Corona crisis. Classes are held daily from Monday to Friday, in groups of no more than 5 to 7 students, teaching basics in Hindi, English, math and the environment.
In this emergency situation, the school project of the bioRe® Foundation is even more dependent on financial support. To ensure that the children of the farming families have a perspective for the future, it is important to secure their education.
With CHF 100.- you cover the annual school costs of a child at an animation school.
